Notice to Our California Customers – AB 1263

At Phase 5 Weapon Systems Inc., California isn’t just where we do business—it’s home. We’re proud to be one of the few remaining firearms component manufacturers still operating here, and we’ve always stood alongside our customers who value personal responsibility, freedom, and the right to self-defense.

AB 1263 presents real challenges for both our company and our customers. While we respect the legislative process, we do not agree with the direction this law takes—particularly when it comes to dictating how customers can purchase legal products, increased data collection, and the impact on individual privacy.

As currently written, AB 1263 requires online retailers to collect and retain personal information, purchase records, and additional acknowledgements from California customers. That’s not a direction we’re comfortable moving in, and it’s not how we believe our customers should be treated. Because of that, we’ve made the decision not to participate in those requirements.

We strongly encourage you to support your local dealers, they are a critical part of this community. If your preferred shop doesn’t carry Phase 5 products, have them reach out to us directly.

We also believe in standing together. Organizations defending Second Amendment rights in the courts need continued support, and the outcomes of those cases will shape the future for all of us.
